Align is an ERO Enterprise software tool that supports a single business process shared across our industry for processing and tracking all compliance monitoring and enforcement activities. All Registered Entities seeking to access Align must register for an ERO Portal account and complete the steps for Multi-Factor Authentication that automatically appear when attempting to log into the ERO Portal for the first time.
The NERC Bulk Electric System Notification & Exception Tool (BESnet) is the official means of notifications to Regional Entities of newly identified inclusions and exclusions as a result of application of the Bulk Electric System definition.
MRO utilizes Nasdaq’s Boardvantage portal to facilitate the MRO Board of Directors’ collaboration, meeting effectiveness, and decision-making. This portal is for board members only.
Registration as a BPS owner, operator or user in the MRO Region is processed through NERC’s Centralized Organization Registration ERO System (CORES) application. Once signed in, new entities select “Entity Registration Requests” to access the Centralized Organization Registration ERO System (CORES) to submit a registration request. Existing entities select “My Entity” and then “CORES” to request changes to a current registration.
This tool is intended to enhance efforts to identify, prioritize, and resolve alignment issues across the ERO Enterprise. Registered entities (or other industry stakeholders) may use it to report any perceived inconsistency in the approach, methods, or practices implemented and executed by the Regional Entities.
PrimeGov is an MRO Organizational Group tool to assist in digitizing meeting agendas, agenda packets, meeting minutes and other committee management processes. This will allow our Organizational Groups to collaborate utilizing automated work flows to complete work effectively and efficiently.
The web-based Compliance Data Management Data System (webCDMS) assists registered entities in documenting and submitting NERC and Regional compliance information. The system enables entities to report compliance through the discovery methods defined in the CMEP and track a possible noncompliance through completion. WebCDMS also allows entities to view Regional Entity and NERC Requirements by an entity’s registered functions, generate compliance reports, and track mitigation plans.
