About MRO’s Regional Risk Assessment

MRO’s mission is to identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks to reliability and security of North America’s bulk power system. Each year, we collaborate with industry experts to assess continent-wide risks to determine which are most likely and could have the greatest impact on the bulk power system within MRO’s region.

Our comprehensive report, which is shared with industry leaders and other key decision makers, enhances awareness of and helps to reduce power system risks. MRO’s Regional Risk Assessment (RRA) guides our efforts in developing and prioritizing mitigation strategies for the most significant regional risks.
